Since the Spring of 2004 Mosaic Communties has been running a series of workshops which bring together 15-16 year old Arab and Jewish youth in Ramle.
Through the use of drama, art, photography, these hands-on workshops help the young people think through Arab/Jewish issues in a creative environment.
The participants created art, shared meals, were tour guides for a day, built a model of a mixed community and photographed their home town of Ramle producing over 300 images..
The workshops were facilitated by Mosaic Communities staff, Musa Zahalka, Anat Moshe, Maya Rabi' and Yossef Salameh, in partnership with the Ha-No'ar ha-Oved ve-ha-Lomed (The Working and Learning Youth Movement), and held in a high school in Ramle.
With the upcoming opening of Mosaic House, a facility in the old city of Ramle that will serve as a community center for all of Ramle residents, these amazing youth will finally have a home of their own.
